Fatima Salijee
Fatima represents the corporate linkage between Salijee Du Plessis Van der Merwe Inc. (SDV) and FutureLead. She is an admitted attorney, both practising with SDV as a director and participating on consulting assignments with FutureLead.
As an attorney, Fatima has advised several corporate clients, including parastatals and Government Institutions, with their internal industrial relations matters. She was closely involved with a project assisting a parastatal with the review and drafting of its new policy framework. Fatima also acts as a legal advisor in project management groups, such as FutureLead in consortium with SVD. Fatima served as a member on the FutureLead Transaction Advisory Group to Air Traffic and Navigational Services on a project which adhered to PPP Guidelines as per the PFMA.
Fatima does contractual drafting and commercial law advising and has assisted various institutions with the restructuring of their businesses and the resolution of arising disputes. She is also involved in training and consulting in the private and public sector on a wide variety of labour and commercial law topics. She works on high profile employment matters in local government, and undertake internal investigations.
